Claims-free discount program approved by New York Insurance Department

PRI is pleased to announce that the New York Insurance Department has approved a discount program for physician insureds of PRI who have been claims free for the past five (5) years. The discount program, which is effective July 1, 2011, will provide qualified physicians with a 7.5% discount to the premium rates established for 2011-2012.

To qualify, a physician must have been in practice for a minimum of five years, AND, have no open claims, (or suits), and no closed claims, (or suits) with any paid indemnity or expense within the last five years.

All of our claims-free insureds will be receiving a letter notifying them of this program and, in some instances, asking for additional information.
