The Department of Hospital & special Programs offers both claims-made and occurrence, including General Liability, with manuscript endorsements for unique professional liability exposures. PRI’s underwriting philosophy is to tailor coverage and customize programs that are responsive to a client’s needs. The hospital department is staffed by underwriters and former healthcare administrators who are well versed and experienced in this highly specialized field.
Hospitals
PRI’s hospital underwriting programs provides comprehensive coverage for the facility and its employees. We can also provide general liability coverage for patient related "slips and falls", for example, offering you a seamless coverage in the event of a claim. Customized endorsements can be tailored to meet your unique needs. All hospitals licensed by the State of New York are eligible for coverage, regardless of specialty or size.
Medical Schools & College Based Clinics
Professional Liability and General Liability coverage is available for entities such as Medical Schools, College Based Clinics, Infirmaries and Allied Healthcare Professional Training Programs such as PA’s, RN’s, LPN’s, CNA’s, and NP’s.
Healthcare Facilities
Healthcare facility professional liability and general liability coverage is available for entities such as community health centers, ambulatory surgery centers, home care companies, dialysis centers, imaging laboratories, physical rehabilitation centers, urgent care centers, psychiatric rehabilitation treatment programs, just to name a few.
